Since 1999, Planning and Development Services, Inc. has guided hundreds of projects, from land development feasibility studies and subdivision design to rezonings, landscape planning, and owner’s representation. While PDSI is known for preparing Design Guidelines and Standards, advising Covenants Committees, and serving on Community Boards, its extensive land development expertise ensures a well-rounded perspective on the unique needs of community associations and homeowner-led projects.
Recognized Work Across Northern Virginia
Vinson Hall Retirement Community – McLean, VA
Planning and Development Services, Inc. supported the expansion by assisting with the layout of new buildings, parking, and facilities, and prepared an enhanced landscape plan. Acting as the owner’s representative, PDSI oversaw landscape installation work that earned two Fairfax County Land Conservation Awards for Tree Planting and Tree Preservation.
Spring Grove Community – Springfield, VA
Planning and Development Services, Inc. prepared the feasibility study, site design, and development plans for rezoning. This project was recognized with the NVBIA Finest for Family Living Award for its innovative approach to infill development.
