About Paul
Paul's interest in Landscape Architecture began in grade school when he moved to Reston, Virginia in 1971. This interest peaked during the years and Paul had already designed, estimated and installed his first landscape plan by the age of 15. It was a natural choice for Paul to continue his interests with an education at Virginia Tech.
With the assistance of scholarships awarded by the Reston Garden Club and The National Council of State Garden Clubs, he graduated in 1987 with a degree in Horticulture and earned a second degree the following year in Landscape Architecture. That year Paul also received an award of Merit from the American Society of Landscape Architects for excellence in the study of Landscape Architecture.
With over 30 years of experience, Paul has worked for Patton, Harris, Rust and Associates, Paciulli, Simmons and Associates and Land Design Consultants, Inc. With the goal of providing personal and conscientious services, Paul established Planning & Development Services, Inc. in June of 1999.
Over the years Paul has been fortunate to provide a variety of services to serve land developers, builders, community associations, and homeowners.
